Gt Notley Country Park - Car Park Charges

The Essex walkers will be glad of this update, Dave, at least they'll be forewarned to bring their change with them!

We are so lucky with our Herts walks at the majority of parking at the places we visit is free (famous last words!)

In my neck of the woods, Berks & south Bucks, the £3.50 charge has been in place for years and now even the beautiful, unspoilt Burnham Beeches has started charging at the weekends.

I understand maintaining car parks costs money, but £3.50 for a couple of hours' stroll is disappointing wherever it is!
