Entrance to the park is sign posted YMCA Woodlands, please park in the furthest car park

Parking: - Plentiful and free

Suitable for buggys and wheelchairs: - Short walk is suitable

Toilet facilities: - Yes at the YMCA

Not expecting it to be too hot on Sunday at Leavesden and we will ensure that most of the walk will be in the shade.

Even so, please make sure you bring water for both you and your hound(s) and cool coats/tea towels just in case.

I need to take her out very early/late to avoid the heat. Hope to make future ones.

Cloud cover is blocking the sun, so it is nice and warm without being too hot.

24 happy hounds walked their owners around both the north and south sides of Leavesden Country Park this morning.

Next week, Royston, and don't forget the picnic after the walk at Chipperfield on the 18th August (11am start), that's the week after the Greyhound Walks show, which we'll all be at of course!
