Well after a slow start and a worrying figure at 1pm wasn't sure we'd reach our target of 2011 dogs but ............... we did and some!
A total of 2279 greyhounds, lurchers and sighthounds walked today at the registered walks and micro walks as part of the Great British Greyhound Walk, bringing owners together, promoting our beloved hounds as pets and raising awareness and funds for rehoming organisations.
Such a big thank you to everyone who got involved be they participants, walk organisers or part of the coordinating team or those who boosted morale when it was dipping, none of it would have happened without your enthusiasm and dedication.
I'll add feedback as we receive it but so far comments have been amazing! If you'd like to make an entry on the guestbook on the website that would be greyt!
